What is ADC Linker?
ADC Linker refers to the linker in ADC (Antibody Drug Conjugate).
ADC is composed of Linker, Payload and monoclonal antibody (mAb). It combines the advantages of high specificity and targeted ability and strong killing effect, achieving precise and efficient killing of cancer cells, and has become a hot spot in the research and development of anti-cancer drugs. At present, there are mainly two types of ADC Linker in ADC drugs: the cleavable linker and the non-cleavable linker. The cleavable linker is designed to remain stable in the bloodstream and then release the Payload in the cells. Stable ADC drugs can ensure less Payload release before reaching tumor cells, thereby improving safety and limiting dosage. Fmoc-NH-(PEG)8-CH2CH2COOH is one of ADC linkers.
