New function of L-glutathione Reduced: Prevention and treatment of stroke and improvement of Parkinson's symptoms

Glutathione (L-glutathione reduced/GSH, CAS No.: 70-18-8) is a γ- The tripeptide of amide bond and sulfhydryl group, composed of glutamic acid, cysteine and glycine, exists in almost every cell of the body. Glutathione can help maintain the normal immune system function, and has antioxidant effect, integrated detoxification effect.


1. Prevention of brain degeneration
Glutathione is a major shield for the brain and nervous system. In terms of prevention and treatment of brain diseases, glutathione is a "guard" that protects the brain from oxidative stress and inflammatory damage, and also plays a role in preventing and treating stroke (atherosclerosis). In addition, science has also verified that glutathione can prevent brain degeneration, senile dementia, Parkinson's disease and other neurodegenerative diseases.

Glutathione can increase the sensitivity of the neurotransmitter serotonin (also known as serotonin), which is the reason why many depressed Parkinson's patients have made significant progress. In some cases, patients have made significant progress after intravenous administration of glutathione IV and gradually reduced their use of Parkinson's drugs
